About the Position:

Juniper's Digital Experience and Automation (DEA) team is delivering innovative solutions allowing our customers to better manage and monitor their networks, while enabling Juniper's support organization to provide rapid resolutions. The successful candidate fort this position will demonstrate the technical and organizational ability to work in a fast-paced environment that demands products with high value, ease of use, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

* Implement the next generation of automated monitoring and troubleshooting solutions for mission critical networking environments
* Work with architecture and Product Line Management teams to technically validate implementation risks and opportunities.
* Implement large scale distributed automation solutions for operational environments in which agility is critical to meet rapidly changing requirements
* Write and review whitepapers, implementation guides, functional specifications, etc.
* Manage, extend and support CI-CD build/test environment
* Operate Troubleshoot-Fix-Validate cycles in CI environment
* Perform root cause analysis for defect resolution and process improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

* M.S. in EE/CS/Physics or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with operating systems, data structures, and networking protocols.
* A passion for efficient data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting.
* Must be hands on with technologies such as containers, virtual machines, and distributed systems as well as networking technologies.
* Excellent network troubleshooting, testing and debugging skills
* BGP, ISIS, OSPF, LDP, MPLS, VRRP, VPLS, etc.


* Demonstrated experience with automated operational workflows for scaled networks
* Understand the tools and processes of a product development lifecycle.
* Implementation experience - continuous integration/development/deployment
* Able to think outside the box, work aggressively outside the usual constraints.
* Proven communication skills and problem solving
* Error Handling

Preferred Qualifications:

* Extensive experience with operations in large scale SP networks
* Hands on experience with automated workflow-reporting in SP environments
* Direct experience troubleshooting critical networking situations [scaled outage]
* Proficiency in statistical methods and modeling
* Experience with analog or digital feedback control systems
* Data modeling
* Netconf
* XML
* Node.js/Python/C/C++
