Description:Are you a skilled software developer seeking to work in an innovative and fast paced engineering environment? Lockheed Martin MFC (Missiles and Fire Control) in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Product Cyber System Security Engineering team.
The primary role will be to develop secure tactical software and to perform software assurance and cyber security testing duties for components across our Missiles and Fire Controls business areas. Additional duties will include code static analysis and remediation for CVE vulnerability identification/management for embedded SW but, ultimately you may participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from Architecture and Design through Formal Qualification and Test.

Basic Qualifications:
* Experience developing software using the C/C++ programming languages
* Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating system environments
* Software Development Lifecycle experience
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline, combined with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
* Active Secret Clearance required for this role
Desired Skills:
* Experience utilizing secure software methodologies and security static analysis tools (Checkmarx, HP-Fortify, Klockwork),
* Experience utilizing Cybersecurity tools (Nessus, Retina, NMap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Core-Impact, etc.)
* Experience hardening software and operating systems to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) (NIST SP 800-37) certification/accreditation
* Ability to maintain a Security+, CSSLP, or CISSP certification IAW DoDI 8570.01
* Demonstrated experience with embedded software development
