We are currently seeking a software engineer to assist the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for the AARGM Production program in Northridge, CA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Support IPT lead in establishing program process, configuration, and logistics guidelines
* Participate in the development of requirements, design, and test documentation
* Design, code, and test software for support equipment (commercial and custom)
* Conduct and participate in design and code reviews
* Interface with hardware engineers to address hardware issues
* Support all levels of software testing
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based upon qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 (Engineer) or level 3 (Principal Engineer).
Basic qualifications for level 2:
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics
* 2 years engineering experience
* Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD issued Secret Clearance within a timeframe as specified by management (US Citizenship required)
* Experience programming in C/C /C# and scripting language
Basic qualifications for level 3:
* BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics
* 5 years engineering experience
* Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD issued Secret Clearance within a timeframe as specified by management (US Citizenship required)
* Experience programming in C/C /C# and scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications:
* Current/active Secret Clearance (or higher)
* Familiarity with standard software lifecycle processes
* Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 process guidelines
* Software testing/debugging in a laboratory environment
* Ability to read schematics and component data sheets
