Whitepages, founded in 1997, helps you contact, research and verify people in your world. More than 30 million people per month use our people search engine to get in touch with extended friends and family, research backgrounds and verify that people are who they say. Whitepages identity verification is also used by leading companies including Jet Blue, Lego, and Intuit to prevent fraudulent transactions while delivering great online experiences.
These teams focus on providing the ultimate user experience when presenting our people, phone, address, business and email data. If you're looking for challenging mobile or full stack web development work that emphasizes the best possible user experience, the Whitepages Premium & Coresite teams are for you.
What we'd like from you:
* Know programming fundamentals and Java, Scala, Ruby, or a similar language. * Possess a willingness to learn new languages and techniques to solve challenging problems. * Have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, graduating before July 2019 from a top university. GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred. * Cultivate a collaborative software development ethic where you value the importance of both offering and acting on feedback.
Combine all of this with a dynamic, "what can I do" culture, and Whitepages is a pretty awesome place for those that want to grow their career and have an impact day after day. We are a small empowered team with a passion for technology and because we're small, everyone benefits in the form of expanded learning and growth opportunities. We also have an amazing office space with all the perks, located right in the heart of downtown Seattle in the iconic Rainier Tower, on the main bus lines and the light rail.
