Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer .NET to join our growing team. You will develop and provide enhancements an existing system using the latest technologies including .NET, Visual Studio, C#, and SQL.

* Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
* Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
* Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
* Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
* Design, develop, customize, and support Web applications and/or software, database applications, and other solutions not available in off-the-shelf modular software required to meet the needs of the institutes.
* Work with project manager, and key stakeholders to develop business requirements, perform requirements analysis, develop application and graphical designs/prototypes
* Refine requirements based on user feedback, test and debug system, implement and deploy, document, maintain, and support NINDS-developed and supported applications
* Expertise in .Net technologies, SQL, NoSQL Databases, XHTML, CSS, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, scripting, import/export with MS Excel, CSV, etc
* Understanding of modern programming languages such as VB, .NET, Java, C++ and C#
* Relevant experience in developing and supporting documentation needs for program-level and user-level specifications and ensure security integrity of system level documents and transactions
* Participate in lessons learned and retrospective team meetings
* Design, develop and test device and system interfaces for the enterprise application.
* Ability to work and solve problems independently
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Provide support for software maintenance, diagnostics for web applications (including bug fixes), code updates, upgrades to new software versions, and disaster recovery (DR)
