The Core Platform team builds some of the most critical pieces of infrastructure for our customers. We are looking for engineers that get an immense amount of pleasure from seeing their services enable others to move fast. We are building reusable components using the latest and greatest technology stack in the industry, including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and more. We enable a true hybrid deployment model. We work with all the engineering teams and we make an impact across the entire 'Anypoint Platform'.

WHAT WE DO

* Build and maintain fault-tolerant, scalable Kubernetes clusters on demand in public clouds and on-premises.
* Develop amazing tools that other engineering teams use to safely deploy their services into our cloud and Private Cloud instances.
* Build the tools and automation to simplify daily tasks by having computers doing all the repetitive work.
* Collaborate with other engineers on the team to foster solid engineering principles and represent our engineering values
* Participate in architectural discussions, influence the roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility of what you develop.
* Work with cutting-edge technologies (like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) that are defining the future of our cloud
* Tackle challenges around user experience, scale, security, analytics, and cross-platform portability
* Love working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience building and operationalizing business critical system or platforms with amazing availability.
* Production Experience or deep understanding of Docker (or similar)
* Production Experience or deep understanding of Kubernetes.
* Knowledge of at least one programming language. We use Go, Python, Node.js, Java, C++ and bash
* Used Terraform/Cloud Formation for infrastructure automation
* Understanding security aspects of production environments
* Worked on cloud platforms that target developers and/or operations.
* Experience with IaaS or PaaS (like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, PCF, OpenShift, etc)
* Understanding of Linux and networking and what it takes to manage a fleet of hosts at scale.
