Have you been working as a software engineer in C# and .NET, but not really doing the things you want? Are you just maintaining old code, perhaps using old tools. Is the future a bit cloudy, both for you and for the work?

Here at Wolters Kluwer, we are building a new Azure-centered SaaS solution that is cutting edge. This is a project that will last at least two years dealing with API's, SOA, a ton of functionality and scalability. You will define issues and come up with solutions. Of course, there will be new projects after this one! We are looking for someone for this role that is promotable, as we love to promote from within.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for key contributions to the development and programming activities for the Suretax platform and related products. Work on our cloud-based software products, which are supported using Microsoft stack in an Agile environment.

You should bring the following:

* Minimum of three years of experience in the software industry -- Microsoft Stack
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college (CompSci or related major)
* An ability to use C# and SQL to build maintainable and highly scalable applications. Experience in LINQ and WCF
* Designing business applications for SaaS architecture especially Azure environment.
* Troubleshoot programmatic and design flaws and engineer solutions. Provide 3rd level support for all assigned products.
* Develop technical and user documentation.
* Structured methodology experience; Scrum development methodology preferred
* Participate in code reviews and troubleshooting.
* Supports the implementation of changes and enhancements for assigned products by contributing to development of implementation plans.
* Meets predetermined project schedules and deadlines
