The Office Customer Success Engineering (CSE) org is fanatically focused on customer love for Office and Office 365. The Amplify and Modern Assistance and Support Experience (MAX) groups are combined engineering and data science teams in the CSE org, architecting the system that drives customer satisfaction and engagement through getting help from support agents or community experts, or personalized help and training content.

We build large scale services serving hundreds of millions of users every month, and end-user features that blend into many aspects of the Office and Office 365 offerings. We are looking for passionate engineers who can jump in, learn new technology, and make an impact to help customer success.

As an engineer on the AMPLIFY team, you will have the opportunity to work on back-end storage where we blend in telemetry and other sources to augment the signal, on ML models to pinpoint drivers and find correlations, or on the outreach platform that interfaces with support and enables us to easily orchestrate campaigns to connect directly with customer in a personal way. You will also have the opportunity to build a full-stack web service that addresses administrator needs.

As an engineer on the MAX team, you will design, create, and run world-class services and rich UX features serving personalized help and training content to billions of customers.

Qualifications:

* BS in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
* 2+ years of experience in a Software Design, Development, Programming or Engineering role
* Must have industry experience programming in C++ or C#

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of any or all of the following: .NET, JavaScript, Angular.js, React.js
* Solid Object-Oriented Design and Programming skills
* Experience in web and RESTful services
* Technical competence and strong analytical skills
* Strong customer focus and understanding of the importance of live site engineering
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Experience with Big Data or Machine Learning a plus
