Are you looking for a position on the forefront of gaming? The Xbox Game Pass team is bringing the power of subscription gaming to a quickly growing user base, and we're just getting started.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Software Engineer to join our data engineering team. You will be manipulating large data sets, managing backend infrastructure, writing product/service telemetry, setting up A/B experiments, and building dashboards/reports, all with the end goal of building a better experience for our customers. In this role, you will also be closely collaborating with other developers, program managers, design, and data scientists. You will need to demonstrate the ability to function autonomously and succeed in an agile, rapidly changing release cycle.

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of industry-level software design and development experience
* Advanced working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining
* Familiarity with Power BI, Azure Kusto, Cosmos, Scope or similar technologies
* Excellent development skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages with strong debugging skills
* Strong communication and cross group collaboration skills
* Self-motivated, self-directed, and self-critical
* Thrives in a dynamic, agile development environment
* Experience handling multiple tasks at a time to successful completion
* Ability to quickly ramp up, understand and solve complex technical problems
* Embraces our team culture of enhancing diversity and inclusion

Basic Qualifications:

* 3+ years of industry-level software design and development experience
* Bachelor in Statistics/Math/Computer Science/Economics/Business or Engineering OR 4+ years of professional experience in one of these fields
