Software engineers (SWEs) at Microsoft are passionate about building technologies that make the world a better place. The ServiceNow Engineering and Automation team is responsible for the engineering, integration, and operation of the Microsoft ServiceNow instance supporting thousands of employees and partners worldwide. We are looking for a software engineer to focus on the integration of ServiceNow with Microsoft technologies such as Teams, Azure ML, and AAD to drive a high degree of business value for our partner teams. This person will also deliver innovative integration scenarios between ServiceNow and Microsoft internal services to increase service efficiency.

Candidates should have at least 1-2 years' experience in production systems: planning, prototyping, developing, analyzing data, stabilizing and releasing. You should have strong design, coding, debugging skills and in-depth knowledge in an OOP language, such as C#, C++ or Java. You should be familiar with DevOps concepts and experienced running Azure services.

You should be an excellent team member, be highly motivated and self-driven. You should have the passion to tackle challenging and unknown areas and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

SWEs dive deep into code and work with fellow programming experts to solve problems and build powerful new tools. You are required to think about the customer to ensure stellar product quality, and you provide technical guidance to PMs as they communicate user needs and product requirements. You will take ownership of your code and act as the directly responsible individual to rapidly turn around production fixes.
