Come join the UI platform team that is looking at radically improving the Windows UI Developer Story, from the bottom up. Our team is responsible for bringing the Fluent Design System to life and making the XAML Controls the most comprehensive set of UI controls available at Microsoft. We are innovating on new ways to increase developer satisfaction and productivity, working closely with internal and external customers to see this platform from the eyes of our customer, and using that perspective to validate and hone what we deliver. Required qualifications:

* 2+ years of professional software development experience.

Preferred qualifications:

* Proficiency in C++.
* Demonstrated strong communication skills (in person, in mail, and in document form).
* Xaml and/or other UX platforms

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

* Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

As a member of the WinUI team, you will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, and releasing of features large and small. You will regularly be engaging with our customers and working together with our PM and Design teams to create best of breed solutions.
