Azure App Service is the only cloud service that integrates everything engineers need to quickly and easily build web and mobile apps for any platform and any device on Microsoft's public and private cloud offerings. Built for developers, App Service is a platform as a service (PaaS) with capabilities like built-in DevOps, CI, staging to production support, and automatic patching. Further pushing the envelope of PaaS, the recent introduction of Azure Functions into the App Service Platform makes it effortless to craft highly scalable distributed applications in the serverless manner.

We target a wide breadth of customers and support both .NET and non-.NET developers with a growing list of runtimes such as .NET, PHP, Node.js, and Python.

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Solid C# knowledge
* Angular, Custom HTML, CSS & JavaScript
* Experience in designing, developing and shipping high quality software
* Debugging and Troubleshooting experiences
* Highly effective communication and collaboration
* Maturity and discipline in applying good engineering practices
* SQL database programming
* Web application frameworks: Angular2, ASP.NET, TypeScript, Performance tuning
* The ability to wear many hats, learn quickly and change direction when needed

* The Web developer will design and construct responsive websites and/or applications that deliver consistent, efficient, and intuitive user experiences while achieving business objectives.
* Web UI Development with Angular, functional web interfaces (custom HTML, CSS & JavaScript) and establishing/maintaining a code repository of reusable interface elements
* Collaborate on the design and implementation of reusable web UI components. Integrate UI components with REST web services when applicable.
* Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with customers, program managers, and/or team colleagues. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, prototypes and sitemaps
* Collaborate on the design and implementation of reusable web UI components
* Responsible for UX design guidelines like accessibility, layouts and responsive design principles
* Backend development and REST API designs
