This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems
* Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages: Java and Microsoft based solutions
* Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
* Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Strong technical Software Engineering Manager role with Java experience doing full stack, high performance applications
* Ability to drive solutions, lead while working on teams to deliver design vision, review designs and code to ensure the vision is delivered
* Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing and performance testing pipelines
* Experience with Kafka or similar stream processing software
* Experience designing event based systems
* Experience with caching software such as Gemfire or similar software
* Expectation is for hands on design and coding
* Ability to present information to wide variety of audiences including senior management
* Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Requires US Citizenship or Permanent Lawful Resident Status for 7 years contiguous required

The position will be responsible for driving the creation of a new user interface that integrates with machine learning technology and open source workflow solutions.

As a Manager you will be responsible for coaching developers that work on Agile teams. You will work to improve the unit, automated and performance testing in the delivery process.
