Job Description:

Duties: Develop on a Multi Asset Trading & Risk software which uses Python, an Object Database, a job scheduler, and several other in-house developed modules. Develop within an Oracle relational database. Migrate all complex assets from one platform to a Multi Asset Trading & Risk software which allows clients to manage their portfolios by trading positions daily using the Multi Asset Trading & Risk software. Support any trade execution issues by debugging the problem and resolving the issue as necessary. Develop industrialized and secure solutions for derivatives trade processing. Develop distributed components to process derivatives trade electronically for instruments across Rates, Credit, and FX markets. Responsible for developing highly scalable, low latency trade execution and trade downstream components. Keep up-to-date with new technologies including grid computing, job scheduling managers, and data technologies. Work closely with JPMC stakeholders, client change teams, and other technology teams to develop end-to-end solutions. Provide L3 production support across JPMC's full technology stack including incident management, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and production change. Interact with front and middle office teams and other business users in providing support and solutions for client queries or productions incidents. Ensure a high-level of unit test coverage using best practices such as not using packages that are depreciated and owning code from development to deployment to production.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a System Analyst, Research Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: Data structures for traversing graphs; Object Oriented programming with Python; writing low latency code for trading; and development with Object Databases.
