Software Engineer | Javascript | Node.js | React

We're seeking talented, hands-on, engineers to modernize one of the most critical systems in Capital One's US Card Business. As a Capital One Full-Stack Web Engineer, you'll using cutting-edge open source frameworks, all on the cloud. You'll bring solid experience in emerging and traditional technologies such as: Node.js, React, Flux, Jest, REST, JSON, HTML / HTML5, CSS / SCSS, Selenium, PhantomJS, NGINX, Express, Chef, Docker, Git / Github. You will be fully utilizing AWS with services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, and many more.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or Military Experience


* At least 2 years of experience in software development



Preferred Qualifications:

* Expertise in Javascript, React, NodeJS, and Jest


* 2+ years of experience in front-end web development using a JS framework (React, Angular)


* 2+ years of experience in back-end NodeJS development


* 2+ years of experience with a JS unit testing library (Jest, Mocha)


* 2+ years of experience in a database technology, preferably No-SQL such as AWS DynamoDB


* 2+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps


* 2+ years of cloud experience, AWS preferred


* 1+ years of experience in AWS Lambda


* 1+ years of experience with Github and advanced Github features


* Experience working with large microservice-based architectures
