You are a hands-on developer who is passionate about technology and has experience developing high performance transaction or reporting systems with large databases and multi-tier architectures; is a team player and knows how to contribute as part of a distributed and diversified global team.

As an experienced Software Engineer, your mission is to help our team of innovators and technologists creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. You will be responsible for application development supporting the Custody and Fund Services line of business executing a strategic initiative providing real time messaging solutions to clients of the Corporate Investment Bank. You will have responsibility for unit-level design, coding, unit testing, and integration testing while participating in the full SDLC. Your solutions will be developed with an eye toward cloud migration and containerization. In addition you must have a sound grasp of development best practice and system architecture. You will be expected to produce high-quality solutions that can pass critical peer review and work in a timeline-driven environment.

We are looking for a hands-on and productive Software Engineer who is passionate about GUI development, user experience, and has a drive to solve front end problems. Your deep technical knowledge and the ability to communicate ideas is an integral part of the role, and as such the successful you will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the technical areas required for the project, and should possess good verbal and written communication skills. * Minimum 2 years' experience building mission-critical enterprise applications, with a proven delivery track record.
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree.


* Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.


* Ability to follow complex design and development standards.


* Experience working in multi-time zone development team.


* Experience with Agile development.


* Experience building high volume systems with real-time performance and read and write capabilities.


* Expert OO analysis and design skills.


* Experience with real-time, event-driven systems and service-oriented architectures.


* Experience with enterprise messaging systems, including message queues and pub/sub.


* Knowledge and experience developing portals and portlets.


* Ability to follow complex design and development standards.


* Ability to work in multi-time zone development team.


* DevOps, including Continuous Integration with Jenkins and Continuous Deployment with Jules.


* JavaScript, JavaScript framework (React JS, Ext JS, or Angular JS), JavaScript charting library, Grid technologies


* HTML5, CSS.


* Core Java, Bootstrap, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring- MVC, RESTFul Web Services.
* Web Services and various protocols.
* Web-based request handling, servlets and filters in J2EE.


* Experience developing with Oracle, Sybase or any other major RDBMS.
