Software Engineer, Intelligent Assistants

Capital One is seeking a Software Engineer to develop innovative technologies and solutions for our intelligent assistant, Eno. As a core member of our conversational AI team, you will be building the future of intelligent assistants, using advanced training techniques and machine learning tools. You will help us deliver Eno at scale for millions of customers and develop innovative ways to accelerate Eno's ability to learn. Working within an Agile team, you'll be an active driver of the full sprint cycle from story planning to reviews and demos. This is a full stack software engineering role targeting truly creative technologists.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or military experience


* At least 3 years of experience in software engineering


* At least 1 year of Python development



Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics


* 5+ years experience in software development


* 2+ years of experience with Python


* 1+ years of experience with one of the following: Java, Node, or C


* Experience with Machine Learning, Conversational AI, or general AI


* Experience with OOP, Architecture, and other best practices


* Experience with technologies like Jenkins, Kafka, Postgresql, DynamoDB, or MongoDB


* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation
