You will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that the qualification system used by the developers at MathWorks is reliable and accurate in detecting failures so that developer productivity is maximized. Your efforts will focus on exposing defects in the product code, debugging, and communicating with product teams to ensure high-quality software. You will also be responsible for improving the bug detection and prevention workflows that are a critical part of our software development process. * Debugging product code to investigate build failures * Test failure investigation to determine root cause * Working with other team members to resolve and repair issues * Responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of results * Tooling improvements to improve developer productivity
* A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
* Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python * Experience with Windows and UNIX/ LINUX systems * Excellent Debugging and problem solving skills * Experience with MATLAB, C/C++ * Experience with automated test development and scripted testing
