Do you want to contribute using Object Oriented Programming (C++) to the core of MATLAB and drive its development?
The MATLAB Infrastructure Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing test suites and conducting hands-on testing of MATLAB infrastructure components. As a member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in every phase of a project's lifecycle, from design stages up to the final product release. The candidate will play a critical role in driving every phase of the development life cycle.
As an individual contributor in the QE department, the candidate will work closely with Engineering, Documentation, and Usability teams. Responsibilities may include design and development of automated testing tools. The main tasks will focus on creating test plans, writing automated test suites, reporting bugs, and participating in component design reviews and usability testing.
* A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
* Programming experience in C++ * Programming experience in MATLAB and/or Java is desirable * Quality Engineering experience is desirable * Experience with various Operating Systems: Linux, Macintosh, Unix, Windows * Experience with Parallel and Distributed Systems is a plus * Creative and Innovative thinker
