The job

Justworks is seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SET) to join our team. As a successful candidate, you have demonstrated the ability to build, deploy, and maintain complex web applications. You have worked within a service-oriented architecture and know how to separate data and functionality as necessary. You have a strong interest in software and systems testing.

We work primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript, but prior knowledge is not a requirement. You should have a deep understanding that goes beyond the ability to use these tools.

What you'll do

* Own our load testing and performance testing strategies
* Research and provide other engineers with tools for testing
* Partner with other engineers to increase test coverage
* Advocate for best practices in testing
* Write tests when necessary

Who you are

* Minimum of 3 years of professional full-stack engineering experience
* Minimum of 1 year of test development and/or automation experience
* Experience working with complicated systems at scale
* Experience with performance testing
* Experience in writing tests
* Infrastructure and DevOps experience a plus
