The Azure SQL Security team in the Azure Data Division builds security features that allow customers to secure their data and stay compliant. Our customers leverage these features on-premise and cloud to build world class application. The features we build bring together different Microsoft products like Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Network, etc... The team also focus on security fundamentals, Compliance and securing SQL Azure Service end to end. We work on highly scalable systems that runs on Windows, and Linux and secured computation technologies.

We are looking for an experienced software engineer looking for an opportunity to make an impact by leveraging Azure Services and passionate to learn something new.

The role provides an opportunity to work on different layer of Azure SQL Database, and it also provides an opportunity to work with very talented and agile set of software developers that iterate fast and prioritize delivering business value to the customers.

* 3+ years of Software Development experience in C++/C#
* Strong design and development expertise
* A bachelor or master's degree in computer science or SW or Computer Engineering.
* Self-motivated, driven to excellence, passionate about solving hard problems.
* Experience designing and delivering a distributed service is a plus.

The position offers an opportunity to work across different partner teams and disciplines. It also provides an opportunity to interact with the customers. The individual will be part of defining the functional and design of new features, implementation and rollout, validating the feature in dogfood and following up with customer feedback. The candidate should have experience building and shipping world class software, good understanding of programming technologies and full stack architectures.
