The Build team in the Windows Engineering Service team is dedicated to making Windows engineers more productive and improve their development experience. We are looking for an engineer to help us push that boundary to the next level for both their CI/CD builds and how quickly we can get builds out to our massive customer base. The scale of Windows brings a unique set of problems that is unparalleled in the industry that we are seeking a highly capable engineer to help solve.

We're a multidisciplinary team playing a hybrid role of traditional Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering. So come learn the skills to develop, deploy, and monitor the system that produces the largest software project family on the planet: Windows, Server, Xbox, IOT, and more!

Strong experience with C#/Java/C/C++

Demonstrated ability and passion for designing and building large scale services

Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills with a strong emphasis on quality and engineering excellence

Strong sense of ownership and accountability to deliver projects and results of increasing technical complexity

4+ years development experience in deploying, validating, operating, and supporting medium to large scale services

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required

Experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure online services is a big plus
