Description

Position Overview

The Platform Team focuses on enterprise usability, hybrid cloud solutions, and strategic integrations empowering our customers to achieve their goals. We believe that enterprise software doesn't need to be purely functional or boring; our investment in interaction and design will pay dividends down the road. Every engineer on the team shares a passion for providing a world-class user experience via a data-driven development process. We believe in helping our customers adopt a cloud strategy which avoids lock-in and doesn't compromise security policy. Last but not least, we realize that some customers need us to work with solutions they already have, and that building integrations with third-party tools may be the best path to customer success.

As a Software Engineer on the Platform Team, you will wear many hats as we build innovative data management applications, compelling third-party integrations, robust deployment tools, and much more. Working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers, you will use your expertise in full stack development to solve technical challenges in many languages and environments. Our stack includes Go, Python, JavaScript, React, Kubernetes, Flow, Spark, and AWS.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Software Engineers work on small, collaborative teams to help drive our company forward. Whether you're building new features in JavaScript and React.js, writing distributed system management utilities, or building next generation data-science integrations, you will be responsible for projects that are deployed into production with each release. Your work will include everything from writing to testing software and you'll gain a significant understanding of both the product and the business.

Required Skills and Experience

* Passion for building high-quality products that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Motivation to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
* Deep understanding of C.S. fundamentals
* Strong programming skill in Go, Python, or JavaScript
* Passionate about building highly reliable software
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
