The Oculus app for PC is a Windows application that allows people to set up their Oculus Rift headset, discover new content and experiences, and connect with their friends in VR. The app is built in React with Electron, a cross-platform framework for building desktop applications with JavaScript. We're looking for a developer with a strong background in React to help us build new features for the app to help people manage their headset, connect with friends, and explore new content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work closely with our product and design teams to build new features for the Oculus PC app.



Build custom user interfaces using React (JavaScript).

Analyze and optimize UI application code for efficiency and performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field or 5+ years industry experience as the degree equivalent.



2+ years experience building React-based web applications.

Experience with large code bases, including API design techniques.

Experience with multithreaded programming.

Experience writing unit tests and testable code.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* M.S. degree in Computer Science.



Experience with Relay.

Experience with Electron.

Experience in Windows programming.
