Microsoft's Engineering Systems Platform team within COSINE is looking for a talented and passionate individual to join the team. The Artifact Services team within ESP is a DevOps focused team working across multiple disciplines to deliver highly available and reliable services. We are also responsible for ensuring that the work being done has measured impact, that illustrates the business problem being solved. Required qualifications:

* 2+ years' experience with development and design
* Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C#, PowerShell, KQL, and USQL

Preferred qualifications:

* BA or BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
* Working understanding of operating in an Agile team
* Experience on cloud platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud etc.
* Relevant experience in design
* Testing mindset, consider testability before beginning code development
* Translate problem solving techniques into efficient code
* Understanding of data structures and data storage solutions
* Relevant experience in analyzing large data sets and recommending solutions

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

* Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
