As a Software Engineer on the Data Team, you will:

* Work with our team of scientists and developers, building the most advanced ML-powered software in the kitchen
* Build and maintain backend systems for content understanding, search, personalization, computer vision, and tracking user behavior

Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience building and shipping production software
* Experience with Scala, Clojure, Python, or the ability to learn these languages quickly
* A collaborative attitude and strong desire to succeed as part of the team
* Self-motivation and a desire to learn
* 3-7 years of engineering experience
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science

Bonus:

* A strong interest in functional programming
* Experience with AWS or GCP
* Experience with ETL, data pipelines, SQL, Spark, Elastic Search
* Interest in or experience with ML, deep learning, NLP, search, computer vision, or recommendation systems
