You share a passion for exploring and solving complex problems at the intersection of VR/AR, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. You're an exceptional C++ software engineer with a solid understanding of applied mathematics and numerical optimization as used in computer vision, robotics, computer graphics or related fields. You're capable of driving cutting-edge and performance-sensitive systems that incorporate the latest innovations in deep learning and computer vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Write and optimize system level C++ code that integrates computer vision and machine learning libraries, mobile platforms, sensors and other tracking technologies on different processing units (GPU, CPU and DSP)



Plan and execute cutting-edge research to advance eye tracking technologies from proof of concept to production

Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions

Develop and optimize novel computer vision algorithms and advanced systems with a focus on real-time object tracking, sensor fusion, visual odometry, camera calibration and 3D reconstruction

Design core components up and down the software stack, developing primarily in C++ on different platforms

Write clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* BS in Computer Vision, Computer Science or a related technical field



5+ years' experience developing software in C++, including algorithm design and systems software development

Proven track record of software development, including shipping one or more products using standard software development toolsets such as source control and continuous integration systems

Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years' experience in 3D computer graphics or in computer vision algorithms in areas such as 3D reconstruction, SLAM, and object detection/tracking



Experience training deep convolutional and/or recurrent neural networks

Experience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projects
