We are seeking a talented, self-directed software engineer to join a team developing customer facing applications that enable the use of MATLAB in the cloud. You will be responsible for contributing to robust, flexible technical solutions that provide great value to our customers. This position will require excellent programming skills, a working knowledge of web application deployment models, and strong interpersonal skills, while working within a global development group.
Responsibilities
Be part of an Agile team that designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based web applications. Participate in all team activities such as planning, requirements definition, design discussions, code reviews, and software development. Work effectively with other team members to provide a quality product for our customers.
Minimum Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required. * Experience with Web Services * Experience with Java
Additional Qualifications
* Strong object-oriented analysis & design skills * Experience developing large scale, highly-available web applications * Experience using Amazon AWS * Experience using Microsoft Azure * Experience creating web user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 * Expreience with MATLAB
