The BI Platform team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us as we develop and grow our core BI application platforms to support 70,000 users. Our key mission is to deliver highly available enterprise scale business intelligence applications that amaze and delight our internal customers. We are looking for a DevOps engineer who will apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to ship code daily to our AWS infrastructure with our CI/CD pipeline.

A day in the life…

* Support enterprise BI applications including MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Report2Web.
* Deploy AWS resources and code changes with our CI/CD pipeline using GitLab, Python, Packer, Terraform, Chef, and Serverless Framework.
* Integrate automated application testing with our CI/CD pipeline with Robot Framework.
* Manage telemetry with DataDog, notify with Slack, and alarm through PagerDuty.
* Complete peer code reviews, cross-train team members, and document what cannot be automated.
* Participate in periodic team on call rotations supporting all our platforms.
* Engage in harrowing Wheel of Misfortune games and constantly find ways to improve our ability to meet our SLO's without exhausting our error budgets.

You own this if you have…

* 2+ years of experience with AWS.
* 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise platforms.
* Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
* Experience with logging and alerting platforms.
* Experience coding in multiple programming and scripting languages.
* Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
