Job Description
Overview:
Condé Nast is looking for an ambitious, early-to-mid career engineer to join and help us build the next generation of our digital products. You will work closely with our Content teams in their shared mission to develop healthy and sustainable ways to increase engagement with our digital services. These teams' focus spans many types of services essential to our subscribers: the content management system, search, newsletters, and more. Your work will drive the future of Condé Nast's digital strategy in today's publishing market, and reach our millions of readers around the world.
Responsibilities:
Join our Content mission teams to help create products and services that convince subscribers old and new to continue supporting our publications
Identify and improve code and usability performance issues
Participate in design and code reviews
Follow and ensure the use of best practices
What We Value:
Bachelor's degree in CS or related experience
1+ years industry experience
Comfortable with modern JavaScript ecosystem (ES6+, Node, npm)
Fluency with semantic HTML, CSS3, and other core web technologies
Awareness of client and server-side performance and accessibility best practices
Strong attention to detail and empathy for design and usability concerns
Experience working in and debugging complex systems and applications
