Job Description

Collaboration with others enables people around the world to do more than they could do on their own. In Microsoft's Office365 system, OneDrive and SharePoint are the key workloads for collaboration. The OneDrive and SharePoint Collaboration team is enhancing user experiences that enable users to collaborate on documents at work, in the classroom and at home, while maintaining the security that our customers expect. We are looking for a strong, highly motivated Software Engineer who is truly passionate about building services that enable users to share and collaborate with one another. We enable our many client applications to present simple compelling experiences to our users while simultaneously dealing with the complex requirements of our customers such as security, policy and compliance. Features the collaboration team work on including sharing across OneDrive and SharePoint, creating a social activity platform and office integration in OneDrive Consumer (including web application integration as well as co-authoring).

* 1 year + of industry experience as a software engineer.
* Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in object oriented languages.
* Strong coding, debugging, algorithm design and problem solving skills.
* Passion for improving software quality, performance and reliability; passion for engineering excellence.
* BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience in services and cloud computing is a plus.
* Experience working with databases is a plus.
