Requisition Summary

This position will help an already strong software development team, Design, Build and Maintain new and existing Kenworth business applications using primary Microsoft technologies (.Net/SQL).

A successful candidate will be highly self-directed, an excellent problem-solver and able to work with all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills are required.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for the development and enhancement of applications using Web and Client technology on a variety of hardware platforms in a fast paced environment. The development and enhancement activities will primarily use Visual Studio (ASP.NET, C# and VB.net).

* Work as part of an Agile Team to deliver projects that meet customer expectations and achieve the business benefits
* Supervise and manage a dispersed Application Development team
* Transforms business requirements into system specifications.
* Sever as the liaison between the Development team and the business to address concerns and prioritize backlogs
* Manage and track project delivery from design to deployment
* Provides professional presentation of metrics and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

* 3+ years of management experience required
* 2 to 3 years of software development or manufacturing experience
* Strong Leadership skills and critical problem solving skills
* Demonstrated leadership with the ability to function independently and set direction for PACCAR, implementing solutions that resolve business issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
* Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
* ITIL Principles (Service Fulfillment, Change, Problem, and Incident Management, etc.)
* Experience working with Agile methodology a plus.
* Demonstrated experience leading large projects.

Education

* B. S. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required.
