The AmazonFresh and Prime Now teams are seeking a Software Development Manager to join our team that is focused on leading teams to build mission critical software used by Amazon customers. We have many domains ranging from highly-scalable transactional back end systems, to complex optimization problems, to customer facing mobile apps, so if you love building world-class software of any type, most likely we have a place for you. Expertise in specialized areas such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, Recommendation Systems, or Signal Processing, is desired.

The candidate is a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and who understands how to drive a high level of excellence with a strong team. They are a seasoned, mature engineering leader, someone who is comfortable building teams, developing staff, and building a culture of high quality and efficient execution. You will work closely with the Science Lead and the science team to bring new ML models and algorithms into production.
