The Lumberyard Field Engineering team aspires to help game developers create the highest quality games, engage massive communities of fans, and connect their games to the vast compute and storage of the cloud. We're looking for an experienced hands-on Software Development Manager, preferably with broad game development experience. You will lead an engineering team developing and supporting the Lumberyard game engine and related web services. You and your team will interface with several internal and external partners to problem-solve and evolve existing services. You will engage with external studio customers and be the voice of the customer internally.

As a Software Development Manager, you will:

* Build and lead a team of high performing software engineers to deliver and support AAA-quality gaming services.
* Help drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience.
* Lead the development of project plans and commitments, and then deliver consistently against those commitments. Execution is key in this role!
