The AWS Organizations team is looking for a manager to run the team that is responsible for making multi-account management easy with every AWS Service.
You and your team will own a part of the Organizations system other AWS services call. You will work with externally facing services (EC2, CloudFormation, and unlaunched services) and internal-only teams (Fraud, Billing). Organizations is constantly expanding to new services and your group's mission is to make this process easy and scalable for service teams so multi-account management is easy for our customers.
As an Organizations SDM, we're looking to you to form your team's vision and clearly communicate and motivate your team about your mission. Because you will be working to influence across the company, earning the trust of your coworkers and partners is essential. We need a manager that can get stakeholders outside your management team excited about how Organizations makes customers' lives easier. As you do this, you'll get the opportunity to dive in and learn about a wide variety of businesses and product launches.
The Organizations team is dedicated to making our customers' lives easier through engineering-driven decisions. The majority of dates are set by engineers. While you and your engineers will go oncall (about once every two months), we dedicate 20% of every sprint to preventing and correcting persistent issues to make sure we're not woken up while oncall.
