Job Description

Interested in making an impact on how AWS operates? As the SDM for AWS Security, you'll build and own a new service that's going to change how AWS operates securely at scale. Your team's mission is to provide a highly scalable and available service across all AWS regions where any AWS operator or developer can launch, use tools securely in all AWS production regions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design.
* Continually improve operational excellence.
* Collaborate with product management on the roadmap and delivery dates.
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment
* Hire and Developer the engineers for a "two pizza" team.
* Grow the product so its available to both AWS and our customers.
* Collaborate with other AWS teams for features that cut across AWS!
* Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance.
* Engage with customers and other AWS partners.

You'll be well supported with by a group with deep technical chops, including multiple principal engineers in this space.
