Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building a world-class marketing organization, and we are looking for a Software Development Manager to help us build next generation of data, business-intelligence and machine-learning platform. As a key leader on the Marketing Data: Science & Engineering (D:SE ) team you will partner with a team of experts across the fields of Data-science, Machine-learning, Business-intelligence and Data-engineering to develop new and innovative solutions to some of the hardest challenges related to analytical platform building, enhancements, scalability and support. In this role, you will manage the key initiatives and partner with the analytical team to define vision, strategy and drive analytics platform roadmap. You will establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses and consumption, machine learning model development, validation and implementation.

You want to make changes that help millions of customers. You don't want to simply make something 1% better as a part of an enormous team, rather you want to get your hands dirty with a small team of experts and invent brand new stuff. You are a software development manager with experience in platform engineering that support recommendation engines, machine learning models and big data implementations. You are interested in shaping technical and operational strategies and taking a key leadership role on the AWS Marketing team. You have great problem solving skills. You love keeping abreast of the latest technology and use it to help your team innovate. You have strong leadership qualities, great judgment, clear communication skills, and a track record of shipping great products.
