Every day, thousands of AWS customers make changes to their account, starting new EC2 instances, creating new databases in RDS, authoring new Lambda functions, etc. AWS Config helps those customers track millions configuration changes for their resources while Config rules help our largest enterprise customers manage their compliance posture. It is still Day 1, and many customers are clamoring for us to provide more solutions to help them manage their enterprise systems. There are hard problems to be solved, and we're looking for the right person to take the reins in helping to solve them.

We're looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the AWS Config team. Cloud compliance management is absolutely critical for our clients, and you will have the opportunity to blaze a new trails for tracking, validating, and reporting on millions of resources. IT administrators, compliance officers, and DevOps engineers all rely on us to help them manage their AWS resources.

As a part of this role, you will:

* Manage and grow a team of software engineers.
* Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach technical staff.
* Help develop long-term development and business technology strategies.
* Successfully drive projects and publicly launch them.
* Interface with our customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress.
* Own all operational metrics and support for your team's software.
* Manage the agile development process and methodology to deliver incremental value to customers.
