Designing and configuring cloud architecture can be daunting. With AWS Elastic Beanstalk developers and system administrators can easily create infrastructure and deploy cloud-based applications in a matter of minutes. Beanstalk supports many different language runtimes and software platforms including Ruby, Golang, Docker, Java, Python, Node.js, and .NET. The Platforms team is responsible for curating and building these platforms and making them globally available across the 20+ AWS regions supported by Beanstalk.
We are seeking experienced engineers to help in our mission to provide the best web application platform for Windows and .NET. Our customers are other developers and our code is responsible for managing their applications on EC2 virtual machine instances. With 10+ supported platforms, you will have opportunities to work with many different technologies and tools, but you will focus on our Windows platforms.
To succeed in this role, you should be deeply familiar with the development and deployment of .NET-based web applications. You should be comfortable doing traditional object-oriented coding, but also happy to write PowerShell scripts and implement automation. You enjoy teaching and mentoring others, and helping them grow into better engineers. Our platforms are built using a combination of many different components and services, so in addition to C# and PowerShell, you will be expected to perform regular development work in Golang, Java, and Ruby, in both Windows and Linux-based environments.
If you are interested in cloud computing and want to build robust systems that thousands of customers rely on, join us in making Elastic Beanstalk the best application deployment and management solution for AWS!
