Amazon Web Service's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) provides secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud. It is designed to make web-scale cloud computing easier and cost-effective for customers. The Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) service is an essential piece of this puzzle, offering massively scalable and performant load balancing technology that our customers don't have to provision and operate.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer for a new service which will act as the front gate for all AWS services. We will provide each customer their own view of AWS, completely isolated from every other customer. Imagine doing this at scale for millions of customers, handling hundreds of terabits/sec and millions of TPS and 99.99% availability.

We work with protocols at the lowest level. You will work with team of software development engineers who are the best of the best. You are smart, passionate and customer obsessed. You love building new systems which fundamentally change how things are done. You hate status quo and believe that we are only limited by our imagination. You want to do amazing things and build systems that would become part of technical folklore.
