Job Description

The Amazon.com Ordering team is looking for a smart, motivated, and results-oriented software development manager to join the team. Ordering is at the heart of the e-Commerce platform group which runs THE largest e-Commerce platform in the world. Our systems orchestrate the creation and processing of orders across hundreds of systems at Amazon to deliver a world-class ordering experience. The Ordering platform powers many Amazon businesses such as Amazon Retail, Kindle, Fulfillment by Amazon, Webstore and many more.

As a leader in the Ordering team you will pioneer new architectural and design choices, invent new features, develop distributed services, and build a dynamically scalable (think cloud computing), rock-solid platform solution using object-oriented C/C++ and Java on various UNIX-flavored platforms. We are a fast-paced environment, using agile methodology and lightweight SOA design patterns.
