LivePerson is currently seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Developer Experience team in Seattle, WA. This role offers a unique challenge to build solutions for a global audience of developers. Your work will shape the future of how developers onboard, learn and engage with LivePerson's products and services. You will work closely with product and design teams to launch compelling web applications that meet business goals. You have a passion for simplifying complex problems into intuitive workflows and are a champion of building engaging experiences to meet developer needs.

In this role you will:

* Lead delivery of web applications that simplify developer onboarding and deliver engaging user experiences
* Develop high-quality, scalable and reusable web components for global use, powered by a CMS and DAM
* Work with production teams to ensure a secure, scalable and reliable setup in LivePerson's global data centers
* Setup and implement performance measurement and monitoring frameworks for continuous improvement
* Work in an Agile environment using Agile methodologies

You should be an expert in:

* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field / equivalent experience
* 5+ years software development experience for web applications, including UI and UX responsibility
* 5+ years of demonstrated experience in coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and debugging web applications
* Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery and responsive design techniques.
* Expertise in at least one front-end development framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js
* Strong track record in designing systems for scalability, performance and reliability
* Experience in microservices architecture

Preferred qualifications:

* Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience developing applications that utilize web authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT, JWS, etc.
* Experience working with remote development teams, including external development partners
* Experience engineering websites for translation into different languages
* Experience building integrations with enterprise CRM
* Experience with public cloud solutions such as AWS and tools such as Docker
* Past experience developing solutions for developers and development communities
