The Position

You: Are an Engineer who wants to understand the entire stack, dig into a problem, and comes up with solutions. You believe in the DevOps model and want to deliver the best possible solutions to Customers. Us: The Apptio Platform Shared Services team builds web and infrastructure services that are the fundamental building blocks used by Apptio SaaS offerings. The products we build and operate include the authentication and authorization solution for all offerings, notification dissemination services, and others.

What we want you to do:

Deliver high quality features on a bi-weekly cadence. Be part of the on-call rotation to help mitigate and solve any issues that may arise from the day to day operations of running a service. Help plan, design, and implement our next services.

Basic Qualifications:

* B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of professional software development experience - Java, C#, C++, Python, or other object-oriented language development
* Proficiency with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Experience with web application development
* Experience with modern JS frameworks like React or Angular
* Experience working in a DevOps Environment
* SQL experience
