The Audience Infrastructure team within Amazon Advertising builds the systems that allow advertisers to target customers across the web. To do this, our services ingest billions of behavioral signals every day, evaluate them in real-time to create segments, and vend those segments out for every ad request received within a fraction of a second. Speed, scale, and accuracy is critical to our success, so we are constantly innovating in the areas of serverless processing (e.g.: Kinesis, Lambda) and high throughput/low latency caching.
Our team also owns the core services and APIs responsible for audience management, such as audience creation, updating, and deactivation. In this role, we are looking for a natural leader who can:
* Understand core advertiser use cases and convert them into a long-term technical roadmap * Architect and develop microservices and components that can support the exponential growth of Amazon's advertising business * Build distributed systems that leverage streaming architecture * Work well with a high-performing engineering team * Mentor and lead junior developers on engineering best practices
