The AWS End User Computing team just launched Amazon WorkLink, a fully managed service that lets customers provide their employees secure, one-click access to internal corporate websites and web apps using their mobile phones. With Amazon WorkLink, employees can access internal web content as easily as they access any public website, without the hassle of connecting to their corporate network. When a user accesses an internal webpage, Amazon WorkLink isolates the page in a browser running in a secure container in AWS. Amazon WorkLink then sends the contents of that page to employee phones as vector graphics while preserving the functionality and interactivity of the page. This approach is more secure than traditional solutions because internal content is never stored or cached by the browser on employee phones, and they never connect directly to your corporate network.
We are rapidly iterating in this space to continue addressing our customers' needs and are looking for a strong software development engineer who can shape up the future of the technical architecture and product direction. It is still Day 1 for Amazon WorkLink and you will have an opportunity to be a key influencer in delivering our next big wave of features. This is a new AWS service and gives you the chance to get in on the ground floor of a brand-new service and help it grow. If you are passionate about the potential of cloud computing and building simple and elegant software solutions and customer-centric products, Amazon WorkLink is the right place for you. Join us to get your hands dirty across the stack from cloud-based services to mobile applications and collaborate closely with peers and teams across Amazon.
