Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a full-stack software engineer to architect and build a customer-centric contract management workflow engine that will support a new service and initiative for our enterprise customers and partners. You will come in on the ground floor and be key to ensuring this initiative is successful and transforms into a formal AWS offering. This is a ground breaking opportunity to build a new platform architected in a configurable, federated, and horizontally scalable design using native AWS technologies. We are building a full stack application, so there are opportunities to build using front-end and/or back-end technologies hosted on AWS. You will interface with teams across AWS, including Sales, Marketing and Enterprise Support organizations to solve unique business problems that only a company with Amazon's scale can encounter and solve with software solutions.

In this role, you will…

* Be heavily involved with UX design and product teams to understand business needs, design solutions, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting experiences that are operationally sustainable at scale.
* Propose innovative tools, frameworks, automation and processes that are used by the entire services team for development.
* Dive deep into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
* Mentor your team members to promote engineering excellence and adoption of industry best-practices.
