Job Description

Are you excited about reinventing the way people think about long-held assumptions? At F3 Shopping Experience, we aim to rebuild the 100+ year old definition of a grocery store and completely change the way the world thinks about getting its groceries. We are a team of passionate tech builders who work endlessly to make life better for our customers through amazing, thoughtful, and creative new experiences.

F3 Shopping Experience owns a broad set of problems, building and operating systems which support a variety of interfaces, including mobile, web, and Alexa voice. We continue to create new ways for customers to experience grocery shopping and constantly strive to make life simpler for them. We are growing into new interface channels, like Amazon Local Marketplaces and strengthening our Alexa voice interfaces. And we're growing in scale and volume, by orders of magnitude. To succeed, we need senior technical leaders to forge a path into the future by building innovative, maintainable, and scalable systems.

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help take F3 Shopping Experience to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from front end user experience, to a set of robust platform services. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer-centric, and is passionate about building quality software. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of success delivering new features or products. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast. He or she has strong design and implementation experience, strong knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of distributed systems architectures.
