Job Description

We have exciting opportunities for talented engineers in the Defective Inventory Management team within the Amazon Global Fulfillment Services (AGFS) organization. The Defective Inventory Management team is responsible for protecting customer experience and brand value. Do you ever wonder how products get delivered to end customers starting from a Seller or a Vendor? This team owns critical services that is used to hold, return and destroy defective inventory units in Amazon's massive supply chain. The team is also building a state of the art Inventory Inspection Platform that will be used to proactively detect defective inventory, perform product inspections in an automated fashion to confirm defects and kickoff the enforcement workflows.

In this team you will have the opportunities to design and develop new systems. You will have opportunities to work on cutting edge AWS technologies to build scalable and highly available services. You will also have opportunities to work closely with ML scientists to build and deploy ML models to detect product defects using product attributes like logos, labels etc. You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers where creative thinking and team work is highly valued.
