Job Description

AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) enables customers to secure their workloads in the cloud by providing authentication and authorization mechanisms. IAM is at the core of providing the authentication and authorization capabilities for every AWS service.

We are undertaking a brand-new initiative to simplify the overall permissions management experience and we are looking for talented Software Development Engineers to help drive this next wave of innovation. This presents unique challenges and opportunities for simplifying the management experience while enhancing the overall security of our customers' AWS resources. As a part of this team you will work on early design stages all the way to the launch of the service and beyond.

If you are a Software Engineer with a strong background coding in Java/C++/C#, a passion for improving quality, simplifying and solving complex problems, then this is your opportunity to own major deliverables and all aspects of the development cycle: scoping, design, implementation, and testing. You will be encouraged to exercise judgment in proactively determining and recommending the best features, designs, and support models based on business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.
