Job Description

The team behind Amazon's shopping website is looking for a software developer to build and develop new customer-facing experiences and improve the shopping experience for millions of customers across the full spectrum of Amazon retail services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about and develop on the various technologies across the Amazon retail website that support major page types like Search, Detail Page, Homepage etc.

The right candidate will be intellectually curious, willing to dive deep, experiment rapidly and get things done. You should love to learn, have an entrepreneurial spirit and want the opportunity to build pioneering solutions to challenging problems. You will contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle from product ideation to design, estimation, implementation, deployment and experimentation, and raise the bar on code quality to ensure we deliver the best possible product to our partners and customers. You will need to collaborate effectively across disciplines in a fast paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization, working independently to design and code features, as well as jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.
